New Sound at the AC LOUNGE!!!

BOOM. BOOM. Did you hear? The beats at the Air Conditioned Lounge, your favorite neighborhood dance club, just got a whole lot better. We finished the installation of our brand new, elite sound system this week, and it is music to our ears (literally!). The booming music is fuller, crisper, and louder than it ever has been before.  From house to hip hop and every genre in between, music is at the core of the AC Lounge experience. We have had legendary DJs, rising stars, and local talent grace our decks with their own unique styles, but our new sound equipment will enhance even the best of the best. We have totally refreshed our system to allow you to completely immerse yourself in the tunes and dance the night away with our high quality, surround sound that gives the extra “oomph” you need to make you want to move. Although our old JBL speakers gave us many epic, fun-filled nights, we were more than ready to take it to the next level and really get every party going at the AC Lounge by improving the music flowing from our entertainment to your ears. Upgraded models have replaced all of our current speakers surrounding the glowing DJ booth, PLUS, we added two brand new speakers on the opposite side of the club, so you can indulge in an up-close, quality sound experience without being pressed up against the DJ in the dancing crowd. Upgrading and doubling the amount of speakers in our space resulted in a better sound experience for all! With the removal of our old sound machines, we actually created even more space on the dance floor, so make sure to bring your friends and come hear the difference for yourself!

For you DJs, tech wizards, and sound nerds, here are the specs of our new system:

• 4 QSC Two-Way Loudspeakers using a 12-inch Die Cast Aluminum Woofer with a 3-inch Voice-Coil
• QSC High-Performance Direct Radiation Subwoofer with 2, 800W, 18-inch Aluminum Frame Woofers, 3200W Total

For the rest of us, these fancy terms and numbers just mean that you will feel the base more, hear every beat better, and dance in the midst of a truly elevated sound experience. With live DJs every night, there are plenty of opportunities to hear the high caliber tunes, grab a craft cocktail or draft beer, and just groove. This news has got the local music scene HYPED, so much so that our Resident DJ, Matthew Brian, even decided to celebrate the debut of our new sound system at this week’s House Music Friday, so you know it is worth taking a listen to!
