This event happens every fourth Tuesday of the month so grab your friends and get ready to have a great time. With your $10 cover you get to learn the basics of Kizomba. Class starts at 9pm and don’t worry, you don’t need a partner the instructor will do a great job of making sure everyone rotates and gets a partner during class. Concerned you have two left feet? That isn’t a concern either, if you know how to walk you can learn how to dance Kizomba. Classes start with a little history about the dance, which originated in Angola. It is a couple’s dance, meant to be danced with your mom, dad, aunt, uncle, cousins, friends, etc. The music is driven by a strong beat and the dance itself is grounded and very smooth. It is considered to be one of the most connected dances in the dance world. By the end of the class you will have learned enough to be able to dance the basics with anyone!
