Joseph Koumpounis (aka DJ JoeMama) was raised in the culturally & historically rich metropolis of Athens Greece later making his way to the Washington DC area to start his self-made success story. By his early 20's DJ JoeMama was already a self-taught visual artist, an accomplished executive pastry chef, a sought after DJ, a globe-trotting entrepreneur & a jack-of-all-trades. He currently resides in southern California as the creative director of Every Starving Artist Productions (aka ESA), a nation-wide artist collective which he founded in Baltimore MD over a decade ago.
A specialist in multi-genre dance music & well known for his full spectrum of sound, DJ JoeMama has rocked hot-spots coast to coast, places in between, even overseas.
